Gates’ daughter holidaying in Bodrum
Jennifer Gates, daughter of Bill Gates, one of the richest people in the World, has chosen the Aegean tourism destination Bodrum for vacation, daily Milliyet has reported.
Jennifer Gates' visit came to light when her father's 107-meter long super yacht "Lana" anchored off Bodrum.
"Just after the yacht anchored, Jennifer Gates came with a tender," the daily wrote on July 4.

French actor in Istanbul to monitor yacht’s renovation
World-renowned French actor Gerard Depardieu has visited Istanbul's shipyards center in the district of Tuzla to monitor renovation works of his trawler, which is being converted into a yacht.

World’s first all-carbon superyacht Khalilah stands off Bodrum
Bodrum, Turkey's tourism hotspot in the Aegean coasts, which has become a destination for million-dollar luxury yachts over the last decade, has welcomed its first superyacht of the year docked in Yalıkavak Marina on the north of the Bodrum Peninsula.
With the Marshall Islands flag on it, "Khalilah," the 48-meter-long superyacht, belongs to Russian oil baron Alexei Golubovich.
Elounda marina will host superyachts
A new marina that can accommodate up to 202 yachts, including superyachts, is planned for Elounda, site of several hotel resorts on the island of Crete.
Part of the Elounda hills project, it will have a land area of 28,540 square meters, including service buildings for yacht passengers.

Yacht builders, located in the Antalya Free Zone, have collected a total of $1.2 billion since the early 2000s, Zeki Gürses, the general manager of Antalya Free Trade Zone Operator (ASBAŞ), has said.

Greece's seas are also the fourth most popular destination for these luxury vessels, with more than 100 super-yachts with an average length of 50 meters sailing or at anchor within two miles of the country's shores every week of the summer months.
