IDF Strikes Hamas HQ In Khan Yunis

In a targeted operation, the Israel Defense Forces' (IDF) Givati Infantry Brigade conducted a raid on the central headquarters of Hamas's terror brigade in Khan Yunis, Gaza. The facility, located in the Al-Qadsia outpost, served as a key hub for training terrorists involved in the October 7 attack and also housed the office of Hamas leader Mohammad Sinwar, brother of Yahya Sinwar.

Israel Announced that it had Attacked a Hamas HQ in Southern Gaza

Israel attacked the headquarters of Hamas in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, said the spokesman of the Israeli Defense Forces, Daniel Hagari.

"During a ground operation in Khan Younis, the Israel Defense Forces attacked Hamas headquarters in the center of the city, including the Palestinian movement's intelligence command center," Hagari said.

Israel trains fire on south Gaza as Biden urges caution

Israel said its armed forces were increasingly focused on Hamas targets in south Gaza Sunday, as the United States again pressed its ally to do more to protect Palestinian civilians.

Signalling a pivot after weeks of intensive fighting around Gaza City, the Israeli army said troops were now looking to the Hamas stronghold of Khan Yunis and elsewhere in the south.
