Marmara region warming up as new heat wave arrives
A new heat wave has gripped Türkiye and will affect the Marmara region the most, where the temperatures are likely to rise by 6 to 10 degrees Celsius, warns meteorologists.
According to the Directorate General of Meteorology's report, the temperatures in Marmara Region will increase by 6 to 10 degrees, which is above the seasonal normal.

Over 4,200 cubic meters of mucilage collected from Marmara Sea
Over the past 11 days, Turkish sea cleaning teams have collected a total of 4,202 cubic meters (148, 392 cubic feet) of mucilage from the Marmara Sea, said the country's environment and urbanization minister on June 19.
Updating the state of the works to clear out mucilage, also known as sea knot, Murat Kurum said on Twitter that the operations were conducted in 255 locations.
