Bulgarian Authorities Detain 18 Illegal Migrants in Yambol
Bulgarian police officers detained eighteen illegal migrants in the industrial zone of Yambol in the early hours on Tuesday.
The migrants were detained during a specialised operation when police stopped two cars which appeared to be transporting an unusually large number of passengers.
Strong South Winds Expected in Bulgaria Saturday
Bulgaria's weather forecast service has warned that strong south-southwest winds are expected in eight regions of eastern and southeastern Bulgaria on Saturday, BGNES reported.
Wind gusts of up to 22 meter per second are expected in the afternoon hours in the regions of Kardzhali, Haskovo, Yambol, Sliven, Burgas, Shumen, Dobrich and Varna.

Bulgarian Police Detain 16 Illegal Migrants in Pazardzhik Region
Police have apprehended 16 illegal migrants near the village of Gelemenovo, in Pazardhik Region, in southern Bulgaria, local media reported on Sunday.
The migrants were believed to have arrived from Afghanistan. They carried no identity documents and police were trying to find where and how they had entered Bulgaria.

Suspect for Brutal Murderer of 60-Year-old British Woman Arrested by Bulgarian Police
The perpetrator of the brutal murder of a 60-year old woman, a British national, in the village of Malomir, Yambol District, has been arrested, according to Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.
Borisov told journalists Sunday that the DNA samples taken at the crime scene fully coincided with the DNA of the suspect.
Englishwoman Reportedly Found Dead in Bulgarian Village, Murder Suspected
The dead body of a woman believed to be English has been found near her house in the village of Malomir, in Yambol Region in southeastern Bulgaria, 24 Chasa news daily reported on Friday.
A murder is suspected as the body is rumoured to have been partially burnt, according to the newspaper.
The body has not been officially identified yet.
