Eurostat: Bulgaria's Unemployment Rate Was Below EU Average in December 2015
The latest figures of Eurostat released on Tuesday show that Bulgaria's unemployment rate was below the EU average in the last month of 2015.
In December last year, Bulgaria registered an unemployment rate of 8.8 %, with the EU average being 9 %.
Bulgaria's unemployment rate retained its level from November 2015, decreasing by 1.4 % compared to the same month in 2014.
Unemployment continues to stand at double digits in Turkey
The unemployment rate in Turkey rose to 10.5 percent in October 2015 from 10.3 percent in September 2015, according to data from the Turkish Statistics Agency (TÜ?K).
The latest unemployment rate was the highest since March 2015, when it hit 10.6 percent.
Bulgaria's Unemployment Rate Drops to 9.2 % in September
Bulgaria registered an unemployment rate of 9.2 % in September, which represented a drop of 0.1 % compared to the previous month and a decrease of 1.3 % compared to September 2014.
The latest figures of the Employment Agency, which were released on Wednesday, show that the unemployment rate continued to drop for the sixth consecutive month.
Jobless rate falls to 24.6% in Q2
The monstrous employment rate in Greece fell to 24.6 percent in Q2 2015, down from 26.6 percent in the previous quarter, which was the same figure for Q2 2014.
According to the Greek statistical service, El.Stat, a total of 1,180,141 people were registered as officially jobless in the country.
Youth unemployment remain the most worrying figure, recorded at 49.5 percent.

Turkey's jobless rate rises to 9.6 pct in June period
Turkey?s unemployment rate rose to 9.6 percent in the June period, which includes May, June and July, up 0.5 percent year-on-year and 0.2 percent over May, according to data released by the Turkish Statistics Institute (TÜ?K) on Sept. 15.
The seasonally adjusted jobless rate came in at 10.4 percent in June, up slightly from 10.2 percent a month ago.

Young people from across G-20 member countries meeting in Turkey have warned their leaders about the growing issues of youth unemployment and inequality.

Inactivity Rate of Young People in Bulgaria at nearly 73% in 2014
The inactivity rate of young people aged 15-24 in the EU-28 varied from 32.6% in the Netherlands and 38% in Denmark to nearly 73% in Bulgaria and Italy, according to Eurostat data for 2014.
Around 58% of the men and women in this age group, or 32,4 million people in the EU-28, were economically inactive during that time.

The number of unemployed aged 15 years old and above rose by 322,000 to 3,069,000 in the period of March, including February, March and April.

Serbia's Falling Jobless Rate Queried
Serbia's official Institute for Statistics has announced that the unemployment rate in 2014 fell by 3.2 per cent to 16.8 per cent.
It said also employment growth in 2014 led to an increase in the total number of workers by 53,451 persons compared with October 2013.
