NSI: Record Low Unemployment Rate in Bulgaria
The National Statistical Institute reports record low unemployment in Bulgaria. For the second quarter of the year the coefficient is 4.2 percent and compared to the second quarter of 2018 decreased by 1.3 percentage points. The total number of unemployed for the period is 142.0 thousand, of which 82.7 thousand (58.2 percent) are men and 59.3 thousand (41.8 percent) are women.

The Unemployment Rate in the Euro Area Continues to Decline
In June 2019, the unemployment rate in the euro area fell to an 11-year low of 7.5% from 7.6% in May, the lowest level since July 2008, Eurostat data show.
The Number of Employed People in Bulgaria Exceeds Registered Unemployed in the First 6 Months of 2019
In the first six months of the year, the number of people who started work exceeds the number of those who are registered as unemployed, the Employment Agency reports. For the period, 123,410 unemployed registered in the Labor Offices have started work.
Record Low Levels of Unemployment in the Euro Area
In May 2019, the unemployment rate in the 28 countries of the European Union fell to a new record low of 6.3%, within the eurozone - to a near 11-year low of 7.5%, and in Bulgaria stabilized in April a historic bottom of 4.5% - the lowest level since 2000 since Eurostat has data for our country.

Unemployment rate down to 4.2 per cent in 2018
Unemployment rate fell from 4.9 per cent in 2017 down to 4.2 per cent last year, mostly affecting graduates of lower and medium education, in the case of whom the unemployment rate accounted for 5.8 per cent and 4.3 per cent respectively, according to the data the National Institute of Statistics (INS) released on Thursday. The unemployment rate for higher education graduates was 2.1 per cent.

Bulgaria's Unemployment Rate For Q4 is 4.7%
Bulgaria's unemployment rate dropped to 4.7% in the fourth quarter of 2018 from 5.6% in the same period 2017, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Thursday, quoted by SeeNews.
Youth unemployment, covering persons in the age bracket 15-29 years, dropped to 7.4% in the period under review from 9.4% in the fourth quarter of 2017, NSI said in a quarterly labour force survey.
