Famous Turkish Dr Oz sues sister for forging father’s will

Turkish-American cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Mehmet Öz, famous for his "The Dr. Oz Show" broadcast in the United States, has filed a criminal complaint against his sister, Nazlım Suna Öz, in Istanbul, accusing her of forging a will of their father, Mustafa Öz, who died in February 2019.

Trump selects Dr. Öz to serve on presidential council

U.S. President Donald Trump appointed on Dec. 11 Dr. Mehmet Öz to the President's Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition alongside nearly 30 other individuals for two-year terms. 

Öz is being appointed alongside former New York Yankees closer Mariano Rivera, New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, and likely baseball hall-of-famer Johnny Damon.

Dr Öz urges Americans to 'cancel' breakfast

Americans should "cancel" breakfast because it is not needed and should instead have brunch all week long, Dr. Mehmet Öz insists as the U.S. struggles with an epidemic of obesity.

Öz called breakfast an "advertising ploy" during an interview with celebrity news website TMZ, further adding "a lot of the dogma that we were fed for decades came out of advertising."
