Croatian Investigative Journalist Beaten at Home

Zeljko Peratovic, a well-known investigative journalist, was attacked in his home in a village near Karlovac in central Croatia on Thursday evening.

Peratovic said that while he was in front of his house, three men drove up and started to insult him about articles written on the illegal excavation of gravel.

Zagreb in Winter Becomes Hot Tourist Destination

The release of figures for tourism in the Croatian capital in 2014 show Zagreb is fast transforming itself from a transit city into a tourist centre in its own right.

The Zagreb Tourist Board, TZGZ, on Friday published record figures for 2014. They showed that 910,988 tourists visited Zagreb in 2014 and made almost 1.57 million overnight stays.

Linta: Cynical decision to raise indictments against Serbs

BELGRADE - Miodrag Linta, president of the Coalition of Refugee Associations, urged Croatia to create the political and professional conditions for punishing numerous crimes against Serbs during the war in the nineties claiming that it is a cynical decision to raise indictments against Serbian citizens from Glina for the murder of Croatian civilians in 1991.
