ATV accident claims life of 19-year-old man on Zakynthos
A 19-year-old man from Scotland lost his life on the island of Zakynthos in an incident involving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) on Friday. The four-wheeler veered off its intended path and overturned, resulting in a fatal injury to the rider.
His fellow-passenger, a British national of the same age, only suffered minor injuries during the incident.

A 75-year-old man was arrested on the island of Zakynthos on Wednesday night for dragging a dog behind his vehicle.
Fire breaks out on Zakynthos
A fire broke out on Monday afternoon in a wooded area near Orthonies on the island of Zakynthos. According to the Hellenic Fire Service, 20 firefighters with nine vehicles are on scene to tackle the blaze and are being supported by two aircraft.

Zakynthos police investigate Irish tourist’s death
Police on the Ionian island of Zakynthos are investigating the circumstances that led to the death of a 20-year-old Irish tourist after he fell into a pool at a club.
The man is understood to have lost consciousness after falling into the pool at the well-known venue.

Danish tourists arrested in Zakynthos for endangering minor
Two Danish tourists have been arrested by the police on the island of Zakynthos for endangering a minor. According to the public broadcaster ERT, a 34-year-old mother and her 31-year-old partner left their one-year-old baby locked inside a rented car while they went shopping on the pedestrian street of Tsilivi, a popular tourist resort.
