The Greek Parliament will debate on Thursday a government amendment for the payment of a one-off benefit to people whose properties were damaged in the earthquake that struck the Ionian island of Zakynthos and the wider region in October 2018.
The aid totals 5,000 euros per property and 1,000 euros per secondary space and will not be taxed or seized.
4.5 Magnitude Earthquake Hit the Greek Island of Zakynthos
An earthquake with a revised magnitude of 4.5 has hit the western island of Zakynthos, but no damage has been reported, reported ekathimerini.com
The Athens Institute of Geodynamics reported that the temblor struck at 1:49 p.m. (1149 GMT) Sunday. The epicenter was 16 kilometers (10 miles) east of Zakynthos and the depth was 23.2 kilometers (14.4 miles).
4.5-magnitude quake hits Zakynthos

Zakynthos quake compensation to reach 670,000 euros
Settlements over damages suffered as a result of a strong earthquake that struck the Ionian island of Zakynthos on October 26 last year are expected to come to 670,000 euros, Greece's association of insurers said Monday.
Zakyntos jolted by 4.3-magnitude quake
A 4.3-magnitude earthquake rattled the Ionian island of Zakynthos at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday, according to the Geodynamic Institute in Athens.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
The tremor struck 67 kilometers off the island capital at a depth of 2.4 kilometers. The island was hit by a powerful 6.4-magnitude quake last October.

Zakynthos rattled by 4.1 Richter quake
A mild 4.1 magnitude earthquake rattled the Ionian island of Zakynthos on Wednesday.
According to the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens, the quake occurred at 9.37 a.m., while its epicenter was located 47 kilometers south of Zakynthos.

Navagio beach voted best beach for 2018 by travel publication
Greece's Navagio (or Shipwreck) beach, located on the Ionian island of Zakynthos, has topped the 2018 list of the world's best beaches, compiled by online travel publication Flightnetwork.com.
The list was produced by asking top industry professionals, including over 1200 journalists, editors, bloggers and agencies from around the world.
