Iran's foreign minister on March 14 defended the nation's right to use ballistic missiles following a test last week, but offered no explanation for anti-Israeli messages reportedly written on them.

Speaking in Wellington, New Zealand, Mohammad Javad Zarif said Iran has always reserved the right to defend itself.

Bosnian Foreign Minister Igor Crnadak made an official visit to Iran on Monday, meeting his counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif in a bid to develop relations that could economically benefit the cash-strapped Balkan state.

"We discussed many ways to increase our economic cooperation," said Crnadak said at a press conference, according to Iranian news FARS.

Bulgaria can use Iran as a doorway into other markets to sell its goods there, Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov has said while on a two-day visit to Tehran.

Mitov made his comments after meetings with Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif and, later with the country's ministers of transportation and culture, Abbas Akhoundi and Ali Jannati, respectively.

The next meeting in Vienna on the Syrian conflict must draw up a list of "terrorist groups", Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Nov 9.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his deputies will attend Syria peace talks in Vienna on Oct. 30, the semi- official ISNA news agency reported. 

"Deputy Foreign Ministers Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Abbas Araqchi and Majid Takht Ravanchi will accompany Zarif on this trip," foreign ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham was quoted as saying by ISNA. 

Iran will be invited to participate in talks in Vienna on Oct. 30 to discuss ending the conflict in Syria, a dialogue aimed at finding a framework for political transition in Damascus, the U.S. State Department said on Oct. 27.
