Bulgaria: When will Masks No Longer be Mandatory on Public Transport
Wearing of masks became mandatory in Bulgaria with the introduction of the new anti-epidemic measures on August 4, 2022. They were supposed to be in effect until August 18 but were extended for 7 days.
Almost 2,600 coronavirus cases on Tuesday
Ljubljana – A total of 2,591 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Slovenia on Tuesday, more than a third more than a week earlier, which may be attributed to reduced testing on public holiday on Monday. One patient died, Health Ministry data shows.

Almost 1,600 new Covid cases during extended weekend, nine deaths
Ljubljana – A total of 1,582 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Slovenia during the extended weekend and nine fatalities among Covid-19 patients. Friday included, 11 patients died and 3,156 new infections were confirmed, data released by the Health Ministry shows.
Coronavirus infections keep receding
Ljubljana – Slovenia reported 2,402 new cases of coronavirus for Monday, 9% fewer than the same day a week ago as cases kept falling week-on-week for the 12th day running. Six patients with Covid-19 died, fresh data from the Health Ministry shows. The number of patients needing hospital care for Covid-19 dropped by nine from Sunday to 104, of whom 15 require intensive care.

Expert warns of Zika risk in Istanbul
The number of "Aedes" mosquitoes capable of carrying the Zika virus has increased in all coasts of the country, especially in Istanbul, Kenan Midilli, a professor from Istanbul University's Cerrahpaşa Medicine Faculty, has warned.

The Incidence of COVID-19 Worldwide increased in June for the First Time in half a year
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases worldwide rose to 17.3 million in June, up about 15% from May. In Latin America, Western Europe and Asia, a sharp increase in morbidity is reported.
Covid case count up by 33% week-on-week
Ljubljana – Slovenia reported 838 new coronavirus infections for Monday, up by 33% in weekly comparison, in what continues to be a steady increase in Covid cases. The total of patients treated for Covid-19 as their main condition in hospitals is at 37, including five in intensive care, shows data by the Health Ministry. No Covid-related deaths were reported yesterday.

No Covid-19 deaths since Friday
Ljubljana – A total of 209 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Slovenia over the weekend, a 30% increase over the weekend before. Since Friday no patient with Covid-19 has died, according to the Health Ministry.

Covid figures remain modest
Ljubljana – Slovenia recorded 290 new coronavirus cases for Thursday, down 42 on Wednesday and 25 more than a week ago, show data by the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ). One person infected with the virus died. According to the Health Ministry, 24 people were in hospital on Thursday due to Covid-19, three of which in intensive care.

Covid case count up to almost 460
Ljubljana – As many as 458 new coronavirus cases were logged in Slovenia on Monday, a weekly rise of 78, while there were no deaths, the data released by the Health Ministry shows. The number of persons hospitalised due to Covid-19 dropped by 5 to 21 from Sunday to Monday, and another four persons were in intensive care, the same as on Sunday.
