Turkey facilitating COVID-19 aid in northwest Syria: UN
Turkey is facilitating the supply of medical aid to northwestern Syria to cope with a potential outbreak of the novel coronavirus, U.N. Emergency Relief Coordinator Mark Lowcock told the Security Council on April 30.
Turkey sees peak point of COVID-19 outbreak: Minister
Turkey is at the peak point of the novel coronavirus outbreak, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said on April 29.
"I can say that we are at the peak period, but we are seeing a fall," in the number of cases, he said at a press conference, adding that risk of a new wave is possible if the current measures are not followed. "But such a thing cannot happen with these measures."
Greek death toll from Covid-19 rises to 139
Greece's death toll from the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) has risen to 139 after a patient at the capital's NIMTS hospital succumbed to the disease on Wednesday, reports said.
According to the same reports, the patient, aged 89, had serious underlying health conditions.

GCS: 362 new cases of novel coronavirus infection; total number of cases reaches 11,978
A number of 362 new cases of persons infected with the novel coronavirus have been registered in Romania since the latest information, the total number of cases thus reaching 11,978, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) informed on Wednesday. From among the persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus, 3,569 were declared recovered and discharged.
