Driver Milos Pavlovic becomes European champion

BELGRADE - Serbian race car driver Milos Pavlovic became on Friday the Lamborghini Super Trophy European champion in tandem with Italian Edoardo Piscopo.

The Sepang track in Malasia will be the venue of the world finals of the "fastest cup competition in the world" this week.

The most important battle will definitely be for first place in the Pro category, where Pavlovic and Piscopo have had the extremely difficult task of coming back from 5 points down from Dutch driver Jeron Mul, their only rival in the battle for the title.

The tandem of Bonladi Motorsport won two second places in two final races, but it was enough for the title because Mul dropped his 5-point advantage ahead of the final weekend.
"We had a lot of problems since coming to Malasia, and malfanctions during practice practically kept us from working on the car and preparing it for the races properly. There were many ups and downs, but we never stopped believing we could reach the goal that led us to Sepang," Pavlovic said after winning the title.
