The match lasted nearly two hours, with Dimitrov failing to register an ace and making five double faults.

In the opening set, the Bulgarian established a 4:1 lead, but lost concentration and made series of mistakes, which resulted in conceding the first set.

The second set also started badly for him, with Dzumhur coming in the lead with 3:1, but Dimitrov managed to recover and claimed the second set.

The Bulgarian also had difficulties in the beginning of the third set, but managed to claim the final victory.
