Udovicic: More recreational sport through fair

BELGRADE - The Fifth International Sports Fair, held on November 25-27, is aimed at attracting the highest possible number of visitors that will later play sports, both professionally and recreationally, says Serbian Minister of Youth and Sports Vanja Udovicic.

"Last year the sports that do not have that much media attention were those that attracted the biggest attention of children", Udovicic told the RTS, stressing the examples of fencing and ski jumping.

This year, 46 city sports associations, 40 territorial associations and nine organizations will participate.

There were 60,000 visitors last year and Udovicic hopes that there will be more this time.

Olympic and Paralympic athletes - Milica Mandic, Tijana Bogdanovic, kayakers, water polo players and basketball players will attend the fair.
