U.S. Senate committee backs Montenegro in NATO resolution

The U.S. Senate Foreign Affairs Committee has unanimously supported a resolution on the ratification of a protocol on Montenegro's' accession to NATO.

The Beta agency is reporting, quoting Montenegrin media, that it was said in Washington the resolution's ratification in the U.S. Senate before the new administration takes office would represent a clear answer to "the new policy of Russia" in Europe.
