Vujovic: Fight against grey economy successful

BELGRADE - The government has been successful in curbing the grey economy, while there is noticeable improvement in implementation of control, inspection and motivating everyone to abide by the law and pay their taxes, Serbian Finance Minister Dusan Vujovic said Wednesday.

"The success has been good - some activities we have launched were one-offs, such as the fiscal receipt sweepstakes, with progress noted in the work of inspection services as well," Vujovic said after a meeting of a coordinating body for activities aimed at curbing the grey economy.
