Cemetery murder suspect attacked by mob

A mob at Athens's Evelpidon court complex attacks a 58-year-old man accused of killing tax office worker Theodora Zeberi at Athens's Second Cemetery in the western suburb of Rizoupoli on October 18 with the intent to rob her. The suspect was given until Friday to prepare his testimony. The Justice Ministry, meanwhile, responded Wednesday to criticism that the suspect had been released from prison in May, saying that he was let out because he had served two-thirds of his 12-year sentence on drug-related charges and not under a law for easing overcrowding at the country's prisons.
