Dacic: Montenegrin Serbs should not deal with finished matters

PODGORICA - Serbs in Montenegro should not be questioning Montenegro's statehood or deal with finished matters such as its independence or NATO membership, Serbian FM Ivica Dacic has told PinkM television in an interview.

"We should not be dealing with high-level issues because Serbs in Montenegro will then be viewed as an anti-state factor in terms of Montenegro's independence... As a result, we will not be able to discuss the fundamental subjects we are interested in - language and Serb rights, representation in state authorities, and so on," Dacic said.
