Serbian PM to take part in China-CEE 16+1 Summit

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic will pay a two-day visit to Bulgaria on 6 and 7 July, the Serbian government has announced.

Brnbic will take part in the 7th Summit of China and 16 countries of Central and Eastern Europe.

On the first day of the visit to Sofia, she will meet with Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang. On the margins of the Summit, Brnabic will have billateral meetings with Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vasily Matyushevsky.

The Summit, to be attended by the leaders of 16 Central and Eastern European countries and China, will be held on July 7 and the main topics will be the deepening of cooperation between the 16+1 initiative countries for sustainable progress.

The most important points of economic cooperation will be industrial partnership, infrastructure and joint ventures, agriculture, tourism and high technology.

Brnabic will attend a business forum in Sofia, which will bring together more than 250 Chinese companies and about 700 business people from Central and Eastern Europe.
