FK Partizan part ways with head coach Igor Duljaj

BELGRADE - Serbian football club FK Partizan Belgrade announced on Monday evening their board of directors had unanimously decided to dismiss head coach Igor Duljaj.

"Following an analysis of the results in the past period, the current situation and a report by Director of Sport Ivica Kralj, all board members agreed it is necessary to take urgent measures to stabilise the (team's) play and results," a club statement said.

Assistant coach Albert Nadj will be in charge of the team until the end of the season.

The decision comes after a four-game losing streak for Partizan - vs Cukaricki, Red Star and TSC in the Superliga and Red Star in the semi-finals of the Serbian national cup.

The league defeats have put the club's qualification for the UEFA Champions League play-offs in doubt.
