Fire erupts again in western Athens

Strong firefighting forces mobilized Wednesday against a fire in the western Athenian suburb of Aigaleo, burning low vegetation.

Forty-one firefighters, including a ground team, 17 vehicles and a helicopter, responded. Local government water tankers assisted in the firefighting efforts.

This follows a fire in the same area on Tuesday, which firefighting forces had brought partially under control.
