PM calls EU leaders, seeking to break impasse
Concerned that Greece is making international headlines again for all the wrong reasons, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is contacting European leaders in a bid to reverse the negative outlook, which is threatening to derail the government's efforts to regain the confidence of a wary electorate and international markets.
Mobile phones “kill” sex
A study of 2,000 adults about their ‘holiday sexpectations’ found that 52 per cent of respondents expected better sex whilst on holiday way, but 60 per cent admitted they didn’t. Durex condom company conducted a survey and 40 per cent of people said they are less likely to instigate sex if their partner is on their phone in bed.

Sports Digest: Panathinaikos deducted three points
SOCCER: The Super League disciplinary committee has given PAOK all three points from the abandoned game at Panathinaikos and deduct three points from the Greens' tally in the play-off mini-league and two points from next season's league table. Panathinaikos will also play two home games behind closed doors next season and pay a 41,000-euro fine.
Cosco and SIPG to sign key agreement in Piraeus
China Cosco Shipping Corporation Limited chairman Xu Lirong is about to arrive in Athens to sign two memorandums of cooperation, both of which are of high symbolic importance to Beijing. Xu will be joined by the head of the Shanghai International Port Group (SIPG), the country's biggest port authority.
No bonus, no fuel checks, gov't admits
The fuel market finds itself at the mercy of smugglers and all kinds of illegal activity, as the government - which before the election had pledged 1 billion euros of extra revenues from containing tax evasion in the sector - admitted on Tuesday through Energy Minister Giorgos Stathakis that just a few checks are in fact implemented.
