Slovenians will remember Gorbachev as a great historic figure who understood the call for ending the Cold War, for democratic revival and European integration and cooperation, Pahor tweeted.

Analyst says crisis result of passive energy policy

Cross-border wine project launches in Celje

Celje – An exhibition and catalogue on cross-boarder cooperation between Slovenian and Croatian winegrowers will open Tuesday evening at the Celje Historical Archives. Wheat purchase call fails as sole bid declared invalid

Ljubljana – Plans to create a large stockpile of wheat to help Slovenia weather the global food supply crisis have floundered after the only bid submitted in the National Commodities Reserves Agency’s open call was declared invalid because it did not include a financial guarantee. The bid has been rejected and the formal procedure has been completed, the agency said on Wednesday.
