Employees of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Dimitrovgrad found a bus that was transporting 25 illegal migrants from Afghanistan. A pre-trial proceeding has been initiated in the case, the press center of the prosecutor's office announced. The driver of the truck D.G. (34 years old) was initially detained for up to 24 hours and is yet to be charged.

A policeman and a physical education teacher saved 9 human lives during a fire in a municipal building in the village of Kolarovo.

Socially weak people were accommodated in the building.

The cause of the fire is still unclear.

"The fire grew very quickly and inside everything was smoke in the corridors and floors," said junior inspector Todor Kimov, RU-Petrich.

A large wildfire is raging between the villages of Rogozinovo, Dositeevo, Kolarovo and Balgarin in the southern Bulgarian municipality of Harmanli on Sunday.

Ten firefighter crews, five teams of foresters and many volunteers are trying to extinguish the fire which has engulfed vineyards, orchards, pastures, bushes and a pine forest.
