The Romanian Foreign Ministry said that state secretary Dan Neculaescu called on Ukraine on Friday to stop recognising Moldovan as a separate language from Romanian.

Ukraine celebrated 30 years of independence on Tuesday (24 August) with a military parade and massive festivities in its capital Kyiv, vowing to reclaim territories annexed by Russia, in order to join NATO and the EU and escape Moscow's stranglehold.

With help from Egypt and Ukraine, Moldovan authorities evacuated 13 Moldovan citizens, including children, from the Gaza Strip, who arrived back on Thursday following the recent military conflict between Hamas and Israeli forces, which destroyed much of the Gaza Strip.

According to information from the Bulgarian embassy in Kiev, from 09.00 am on 28.11.2018 to 09.00 on 28.12.2018 a military situation was announced in Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. It covers the following areas: Vinnytsia, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolayiv, Odesa, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Kherson oblasts.

Ukraine's parliament approved late on Nov. 26 the imposition of 30 days of martial law in 10 areas located on the Russian border, the border with the Russian-controlled Transnistria region of Moldova and oblasts located by the Black and Azov seas, reported Kyivpost.

A specialized team in Burgas yesterday destroyed the naval mine which was found near the Coral beach in Tsarevo, the Ministry of Defense announced, quoted by BGNES.

The actions of the team were lead  by Captain lll rank Krasimir Ivanov.

The naval mine is from type ''mining defender'' and was about 30 meters away from the coastline.

On a visit on Sunday to Cernauti, Ukraine, Minister-delegate for Romanians Overseas Angel Tilvar met Vice-Governor of the Cernauti Regional State Administration Ruslan Sencyuk and Cernauti Mayor Kaspruk Oleksey, with Tilvar voicing worries over Moldova's former Prime Minister Mircea Druc, also a Romanian citizen, having been denied entry to Ukraine.
