Bulgarian Biliana Dudova Became World Champion
Biliana Dudova became world champion in wrestling in the category up to 59 kg. at the championship in Oslo. The Bulgarian defeated the Japanese Akie Hanai 6:4 in the final and deservedly congratulated herself with the title.

Turkish wrestler Fazlı Eryılmaz wins bronze in World Championships
Turkey's Fazlı Eryılmaz took a bronze medal in the 2021 World Wrestling Championships held in Oslo on Oct. 3.
Eryılmaz, 24, beat his Belarusian opponent Azamat Nurykau 2-1 in men's freestyle 74 kg bronze medal match to come third in this tournament.
The World Championships in the Norwegian capital will run through Oct. 10.

Border checks to be stepped up Monday
Ljubljana – Slovenia will step up health checks on its borders starting on Monday. It plans to reintroduce checkpoints on internal borders, which were scrapped in mid-February, and tighten quarantine rules for arrivals, Interior Minister Aleš Hojs told the press on Thursday.

Selecting Romania's 2021 Eurovision song is starting today, with singer Roxen expected to record several songs in the days ahead. Demo versions of the acts will be sent to a jury that chooses the winning song, according to a press statement released by the TVR national public television corporation.

Ljubljana – Starting on Friday citizens of Slovenia and other EU and Schengen countries are able to enter the country without quarantining if they had left the country to perform maintenance work on private property in another EU or Schengen country, or to provide care or aid or to visit their child.

Covid-19: Norway Will Impose New Restrictions to Contain the Virus
Scandinavian country Norway will be introducing new tougher restrictions and measures amid concerns about rising coronavirus cases.
Serving alcohol will be banned in establishments and at events nationwide.
Private gatherings outside of one's own household with more than five people are also forbiden.
Norway: Rescue Operations Continue in Search of People after the Landslide
Rescuers found one body on Friday, two days after a landslide in southern Norway swept away at least nine buildings, police said, with nine people still missing.
Another 10 people were injured after Wednesday's landslide in the residential area in the Gjerdrum municipality, about 30 km (19 miles) north of the capital, Oslo.
