Afgan Policeman Fires at Journalists, Leaves One Dead
A journalist has died and another has been wounded in an attack by Afghan police officer, a day ahead of the country's presidential elections.
German photojournalist Anja Niedringhaus, 48 years old, was a contributor for the Associated Press Television in the last 12 years.
Bulgaria's Varna Airport Switches to Summer Timetable
The summer timetable of the Varna Airport came into effect and the number of flights has increased.
According to airport representatives, this year there will be a new regular route to Belgrade and to Istanbul.
The Air Serbia flights to and from Belgrade start on May 1, three times a week and from June 15 the flights will be daily.

Serbia ranks 28th on FIFA list
ZURICH - Serbia's soccer team improved its ranking by one position on the list of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) and now occupies the 28th place on the list with the score at 762 points.
The team coached by Ljubinko Drulovic made progress on the list thanks to the victory against Ireland in the friendly match in Dublin last week, 2-1.

BELGRADE - The Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) condemned in the harshest terms the burning of the flag of the Republic of Serbia in Kosovska Mitrovica ahead of the start of a football match between Pristina and Haiti.
Bekric achieves personal indoor best at meeting in Prague
PRAGUE - Serbia's Emir Bekric achieved a personal indoor best at the 2014 European Athletics Indoor Permit Meeting, finishing a 400m Men's race in 47.17 seconds.
Although he finished second in his race, Bekric is very pleased about his achievement, as he succeeded in realizing his plan to finish in under 47.70 and pave his way to a good result in 400m hurdles.
Serbia climbs one position in FIFA world ranking table
ZURICH - The Serbian national football team has climbed one position in the latest International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) world ranking table, and is now ranked 29th, with 775 points.
There are no changes at the top - Spain is still number one with 1,506 points, and is followed by Germany (1,318 points) and Argentina (1,255 points).
