Cooperation between PKS and Mumbai WTC
BELGRADE - The Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) and the World Trade Centre (WTC) from Mumbai, India, signed a memorandum on long-term business cooperation to back the improvement of economic relations between the two countries and set up strong ties between Indian and Serbian businessmen.

Serbian Film Association delegation visits Bollywood
BELGRADE - A four-member delegation of the Serbian Film Association (SFA) has visited India to exchange experience and improve cooperation in film and television between the two countries, the SFA stated on Wednesday.
The Indian embassy in Belgrade helped the SFA organize the visit, which was from Arpil 24 to 30.

BARCELONA - Serbian tennis player Nenad Zimonjic and his Canadian colleague Daniel Nestor qualified for the Barcelona WTA men's doubles semifinal as they defeated India's Rohan Bopanna and Pakistan's Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi in the Friday match, 6-7 (7-9), 7-5, 10-7.
Ellaktor lands major Doha metro project
Ellaktor subsidiary Aktor has secured the biggest construction project ever obtained by a Greek company abroad by signing the contract for the study and construction of the Gold Line Underground metro line in Doha, Qatar, worth 3.2 billion euros.

Serbian Davis Cup team to go to India for play-off tie
LONDON - The Serbian tennis team will take on India in a play-off tie, trying to keep its spot in the Davis Cup World Group, the London draw decided on Tuesday.
The matches will take place from September 12-14, and India will play a host.
India Starts General Elections to be Concluded May 12
India has started voting in general elections which will be held in nine phases, with results expected to be announced on May 16.
Over 814 million voters will be able to cast ballots at 930 000 polling stations in the period April 7 – May 12 in what has been described as the world's biggest elections.

Veselin Panteleev-Eschkenazy: I Love Impossible Causes
Veselin Panteleev-Eschkenazy was born in a family of musicians. At the age of 11, he became a concertmaster of the youth philharmonic of Professor Vladi Simeonov. He graduated the National Music Academy in Sofia. In 1990, he moved to London, where he completed a masters degree for solo performers. He is a laureate of international violin competitions in Beijing and London.
3% of Global Retail Chains Plan Expansion in Bulgaria – CBRE Report
Bulgaria ranks 46th in a report of property consultants CBRE on the top destinations for expanding global retail chains.
According to the survey, as cited by investor.bg, some 3% of the polled international retail chains expressed interest in expanding their business in Bulgaria.
Macao, India, Oman and Serbia have similar scores.
