Golden Orange Film Festival to open in October
The jury members and films that will take place in the International Feature Film Competition and the National Feature Film Competition of the 58th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival have been announced.
According to a statement made by the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, works for the festival, which will open on Oct. 2, continue.

CNSU updates list of countries with high epidemiological risk
The National Committee for Emergency Situations (CNSU) updated on Thursday the list of countries with high epidemiological risk. According to CNSU, Serbia, Estonia, Albania, Tunisia, Mauritius, Jamaica, Lebanon, Palestine, Belize, Antigua and Barbuda, Suriname and Brunei Darussalam have entered the red zone.
EU removes US from COVID safe list for non-essential travel
The European Union on Aug. 30 recommended that its member states reimpose travel restrictions on U.S. tourists over rising covid infections in the country.

F1 announces revised 2021 calendar
Formula One on Aug. 28 announced a revised calendar for the rest of the 2021 season, following the cancellation of the Japanese Grand Prix due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new schedule will have 22 races - a record number of races in one season - with some of the events shifted to new dates.

Israel and Iran on Bulgarian Red Travel List
As of Wednesday, 18 August, the Republic of Malta, the Principality of Monaco and the Principality of Andorra will leave the "red zone" and be included in the list of "orange zone" countries. This is done with a change in the list of countries by color zones, according to which the order of entry into Bulgaria is determined, the Ministry of Health announced.

Over 2.7 million tourists visit Istanbul
More than 2.7 million foreign tourists visited Istanbul in the first six months of 2021, the provincial directorate of culture and tourism has said.

In June alone, the number of foreign arrivals amounted to 685,000 people and this was the highest figure in the past 16 months.

CNSU updates list of high epidemiological risk countries; Greece, Ireland, Monaco enter red zone
The National Committee for Emergency Situations (CNSU) on Thursday adopted Decision No 52 on updating the list of countries/territories with high epidemiological risk, with Greece, Ireland, Monaco entering the red zone, and France, Belgium, Israel, the USA, Iceland and Honduras entering the yellow zone.
From Monday: Bulgaria Closes Borders to Netherland, Malta, Andorra and Georgia
As of Monday, July 26, Bulgaria is closed to foreigners coming from four other countries - the Netherlands, Malta, Andorra and Georgia. Bulgarian citizens arriving from these countries, permanent residents and members of their families are allowed in our country only against a negative test for COVID-19, regardless of whether they have been vaccinated or not.
Updated list of high epidemiological risk countries: UK, The Netherlands, Spain, Portugal - in red zone
On Thursday, the National Committee for Emergency Situations (CNSU) updated the list of countries/territories depending on the cumulative incidence rate of COVID cases, in order to establish the need for a quarantine measure being enforced on the persons arriving to Romania from these countries, with UK, The Netherlands, Cyprus, Spain, Portugal being in the red zone.
