Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman has accused Turkey and Qatar of sabotaging the Gaza cease-fire proposal drafted by Egypt.

VRNJACKA BANJA - The 9th Vrnjci International Classical Music Festival will take place in the Culture castle in Vrnjacka Banja from July 20 to 30.

The festival will gather participants from Norway, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Great Britain, Germany and Serbia. The art director of the festival is Uros Dojcinovic.

A Swedish man died after he jumped from a helicopter above the North Sea while being taken to hospital in Norway, police said on Thursday.
      
The 37-year-old man, who fell from 600 metres (2,000 feet) on Wednesday morning, is believed to have committed suicide, according to sources close to the investigation.
     

NIS - Norwegian Ambassador in Serbia Nils Ragnar Kamsvag in Nis on Wednesday that his country sent around EUR 2.5 million worth of assistance over the course of 12 years.

In the talks with Nis Mayor Zoran Perisic, the Norwegian ambassador said that his country's main focus in the time to come would cover the high unemployment rate in Serbia.

OSCE chairmanship "great responsibility"

BELGRADE -- "It is a great responsibility to chair the OSCE," Norwegian Foreign Minister Borge Brende told the Belgrade daily Politika.

Brende, who was visiting Serbia this week, added that he was sure that the country was "preparing well for the role it is to take on in 2015."

BELGRADE -- President Tomislav Nikolić has thanked Norwegian FM Borge Brende "for the assistance provided by friendly Norway during the catastrophic floods in Serbia."

The president also "noted that the two countries have enjoyed a continuity of good relations regardless of the situations they have been in."

Norway sets aside more funds to help with flood recovery

BELGRADE -- Norwegian Foreign Minister Borge Brende announced on Monday that his country would allocate an additional EUR 2 million to help Serbia after the floods.

Brende is on a two-day visit to Serbia, where he is meeting with top officials.
