Psychologists Negotiating with Bulgaria’s Lyaskovets Shooter
Four psychologists are negotiating with the shooter in Bulgaria's town of Lyaskovets, who has barricaded himself with a gun in his home.
The man, believed to be 53 year old Petko Petkov, shot and killed a police officer Friday morning, and wounded 3 more. He is thought to be mentally ill, unemployed, and hasn't left his home since 2010.
More Than Half Of Bulgaria's Companies Are Inactive
More than half of Bulgaria's companies were inactive in 2013, shows data of the National Revenue Agency (NRA), based on the corporate tax declarations.
So far 50 600 Bulgarian companies have filed their declarations for 2013. Of them 27 000 declared profits, while the rest declared that they didn't do any business.
Social Insurance in Bulgaria Won't Be Raised
The social insurance for pension plans and unemployment is impossible at this stage, said Bulgaria's Minister of Labour and Social Policies Hasan Ademov.

Bulgaria's Supreme Judicial Council (VSS) dismissed on disciplinary grounds VSS member and former Deputy Chief Prosecutor Kamen Sitnilski.
Following a two-hour debate during the Thursday sitting of VSS, Sitnilski's dismissal was backed by 16 VSS members, with five votes against and three abstensions, according to reports of mediapool.bg.
Ukrainians Protest in Bulgaria's Varna
About 20 Ukrainians, residing in Bulgaria, staged a peaceful protest against Russia's invasion in Crimea, in the Black Sea city of Varna.
The protestors were carrying Ukrainians carried the Ukrainian flag, blue and yellow balloons and signs saying “Russia is an aggressor”, reported Bulgaria's public TV channel BNT.
