Queens of the Stone Age arrives in Serbia on June 11
BELGRADE - Queens of the Stone Age, one of the greatest rock bands of today, is coming to Serbia on June 11.
The Americans will be headlining a new one-day rock festival introducing EXIT ADVENTURE, and as a special treat, the festival's most devoted fans will have a chance to choose a city in Serbia in which the event will be held.
Vandals demolish and steal Serb hero's bust
PODGORICA - Unidentified vandals again demolished and stole the bust of Novak Milosev Vujadinovica in Orljevo, near Podgorica, which was put up by the Serb National Council in Montenegro.
The Serb Nation Council set up a new bust a year ago, after the previous one was also pulled down and stolen.
Montenegro Reopens Editor’s Murder Investigation
The investigation resumed on Tuesday with the questioning of several top policemen including the former head of the Podgorica force, Milan Vijanovic, and senior officers Milan Tomic and Tihomir Gacevic, Montenegrin media reported.
Serbia ranks 54th in world according to Press Freedom Index
PARIS - Serbia ranks 54th among 180 world countries according to the degree of freedom of the media, while Macedonia and Montenegro are the lowest ranked countries in the Balkans according to the Press Freedom Index for 2014, Reporters without Borders organisation released.
Last year, Serbia claimed the 63rd place on the list.
Days of Serbian Culture in Montenegro
PODGORICA - Days of Serbian Culture will be held in Montenegro February 10-15 to mark Serbia's Statehood Day.
The event will be held in Podgorica, Herceg Novi, Tivat and Kotor, the Serbian Embassy in Podgorica told Tanjug.
The programme includes a number of exhibitions, plays, book nights and lectures on significant works and figures from the Serbian culture.
