Israel will one day pay the price for the atrocities it is committing against the Palestinians in Gaza, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has said, urging once again for a ceasefire and uninterrupted flow of humanitarian assistance to the civilians stranded in the enclave.
Erdoğan meets Hamas chief in Istanbul
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Saturday received Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh in Istanbul as Middle East tensions run high.
The meeting at the Dolmabahce palace on the banks of the Bosphorus began shortly after 2:30 pm (1130 GMT) and lasted about two and a half hours.

Trade with Israel declines amid Gaza war: Minister
The bilateral trade volume between Türkiye and Israel has declined by 33 percent between Oct. 7 and March 20, Trade Minister Ömer Bolat has said.
"Public institutions and state-owned companies never do business with Israel," Bolat said in an interview with private broadcaster 24 TV.
