President of EU Council worried about attacks on Hürriyet, HDP buildings

Donald Tusk, the president of the European Union Council, has voiced his concern over the recent attacks on the bureaus of the Peoples? Democratic Party (HDP), as well as daily Hürriyet, in remarks at a joint press conference with President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an in Ankara late on Sept 9. 

German Minister of Justice appreciates the Romanian Ministry of Justice's activity of the last two years

The German Federal Minister of Justice and Consumer Protection, Heiko Maas, on the occasion of a meeting with his Romanian counterpart, Robert Cazanciuc, appreciated the activity of the Romanian Ministry of Justice of the last two years, appreciation he said he also expressed during his bilateral meetings with other counterparts, reads a release of the Ministry sent to AGERPRES.

ForMin Aurescu: We would like to see more Luxembourgian investors in Romania

Romania's Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu said Wednesday that he would like to see more investors from Luxembourg opening up shop in Romania, mentioning that Luxembourg is currently ranked 9th in the ranking of foreign investors in Romania, with more than 2 billion euros worth of investment.

President Iohannis: 2015 a milestone of better understanding European citizens' rights

President Klaus Iohannis hailed the beginning of the Latvian presidency of the European Union and Lithuania's entry into the single European currency area. In a post on his Facebook page on Monday, the president said 2015 should mark the beginning of a better understanding by Romanians of their rights as European citizens.
