Protocol signed on construction of new road link between Gorenjska, Primorska

Ljubljana – Infrastructure Minister Jernej Vrtovec has signed a protocol with local mayors on the construction of a new road link between the northern Gorenjska and the western Primorska regions. Thus, an important step was made towards the implementation of the project, called the 4th development axis, according to the minister.

Dnevnik points to flaws in Kočevje-Ljubljana passenger rail service

Ljubljana – The joy over the resumption of passenger rail service between Kočevje and Ljubljana after fifty years died away quickly after passengers looked at the timetable. Despite the EUR 100 million renovation of the track, the timetable is tailored only to working migrants, newspaper Dnevnik says on Tuesday.
