Serbia's January-March external trade at 16.3 bln euros

BELGRADE - Serbia's external goods trade in January-March totalled 16.3 bln euros, which is a 2.6 pct decrease y-o-y, according to figures released by the national statistical office.

Goods exports were worth 7.179 bln euros, dropping by 1.6 pct y-o-y, while imports totalled 9.126 bln euros, declining by 3.3 pct y-o-y.

The deficit was 1.946 bln euros, down by 9.1 pct y-o-y.

Tourist visits in Serbia up by 11.7 pct y-o-y in March

BELGRADE - Serbia registered 11.7 pct more tourist visits in March 2024 relative to the same month of last year and the number of overnight stays was up by 10 pct y-o-y, according to figures released by the national statistical office.

Overnight stays generated by Serbian tourists were up by 10.2 pct y-o-y, while those generated by foreign tourists were up by 9.7 pct y-o-y.

Serbian industrial turnover up by 11.7 pct y-o-y in February

BELGRADE - Serbia's February industrial turnover was up by 11.7 pct relative to the same month of last year, according to figures released by the national statistical office.

Relative to the 2023 average, it was down by 0.9 pct.

By sectors, the mining sector registered a 43.5 pct turnover increase y-o-y, while the manufacturing industry turnover rose by 10.7 pct.

BELGRADE - Serbia's external goods trade in January-February totalled 10.55 bln euros, which is a 0.6 pct increase y-o-y, according to figures released by the national statistical office.

Goods exports were worth 4.661 bln euros, rising by 3.2 pct y-o-y, while imports totalled 5.888 bln euros, declining by 1.3 pct y-o-y.

Tourist visits in Serbia up by 9.2 pct y-o-y in February

BELGRADE - Serbia registered 9.2 pct more tourist visits in February 2024 relative to the same month of last year and the number of overnight stays was up by 1.7 pct y-o-y, according to figures released by the national statistical office.

Overnight stays generated by Serbian tourists were up by 2.1 pct y-o-y, while those generated by foreign tourists were up by 1.2 pct y-o-y.

Serbian industrial turnover up by 6.9 pct y-o-y in January

BELGRADE - Serbia's January industrial turnover was up by 6.9 pct relative to the same month of last year, according to figures released by the national statistical office.

Relative to the 2023 average, it was down by 13.8 pct.

By sectors, the mining sector registered a 12 pct turnover increase y-o-y, while the manufacturing industry turnover rose by 6.7 pct.

BELGRADE - Serbia's external goods trade in January totalled 4.81 bln euros, which is a 4.9 pct decline y-o-y, according to figures released by the national statistical office.

Goods exports were worth 2,142.3 mln euros, declining by 1.6 pct y-o-y.

Goods imports totalled 2,675.0 mln euros, declining by 7.5 pct y-o-y.

Serbian industrial turnover down by 1.0 pct y-o-y in December

BELGRADE - Serbia's December 2023 industrial turnover was down by 1.0 pct relative to the same month of the previous year, according to figures released by the national statistical office.

Relative to the 2022 average, it was up by 7.3 pct.

By sectors, the mining sector registered a 1.0 pct turnover decline y-o-y, while the manufacturing industry turnover fell by 1.0 pct.
