Voter email leak took place in May-June 2023, Interior Ministry audit finds
The email addresses of thousands of Greek voters abroad were leaked between May and June 2023, an Interior Ministry internal audit has found.
The inquiry was ordered after New Democracy MEP Anna-Michelle Asimakopoulou sent a mass email to Greeks abroad as part of her re-election campaign in June's European elections. She since withdrew her candidacy.
ELTA had been warned of security risks a year before cyberattack, report shows

Leader of the main opposition party SYRIZA Stefanos Kasselakis met with the president of the Hellenic Authority for Communication Security and Privacy (ADAE) Christos Rammos on Monday.

Three e-scooter companies withdraw from market in Istanbul
Three companies operating a total of more than 8,000 e-scooters in Istanbul have pulled out of the market of their own accord.
The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME) unanimously accepted the proposal to cancel the e-scooter permits belonging to three companies.
Importer of Predator spyware fined €50,000
Intellexa, the company that sells Predator tracking software, has been fined 50,000 euros by the Personal Data Protection Authority for failing to cooperate with an audit.
At the same time, the authority has requested that the company provide the data it has been seeking since September, when it launched its probe.

Social media platforms aim to oppress democracy: Minister
Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu states that social media platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter and TikTok are created to oppress democratic governments, adding that the U.S. has been demanding the data of Syrian people from Türkiye for six years.
