Poland's demands for war reparations from Germany are "a claim for justice," its prime minister said on Thursday as the Polish parliament reportedly prepares the ground for a possible legal claim. Berlin has frequently said the issue has been resolved in full.

Polish Parliament Rejects Controversial Abortion Bill

The Polish Parliament has rejected the controversial draft bill on a full ban of abortion.

 

Right-wing and liberal deputies joined efforts and rejected the draft bill with 352 votes "against" and 58 votes "for".

 

This is the first huge blow against the ruling conservatives in Poland who faced mass protests over the last few days.
