Russia, Turkey To Conduct First Joint Air Force Operation Against IS
Russia and Turkey will conduct their first joint air force operation against the terrorist grouping Islamic State in the suburbs of al-Bab in the Aleppo province, reported TASS, cited by the Focus agency.
Djordjevic: Overhaul, upgrade of Russian jets to cost 185 mln euros
BELGRADE - The overhaul and upgrade of the six MiG-29 fighter jets donated to Serbia by Russia will cost 185 mln euros, and they could start flying at the end of 2017, Serbian Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic said Friday.
If the overhaul is carried out at the Moma Stanojlovic Aviation Institute, this could happen sooner, Djordjevic told a press conference.

Vucic to meet with Shoygu Wednesday to discuss purchase of MiGs
BELGRADE - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic will be on a one-day visit to Moscow on Wednesday to meet with Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoygu.

BELGRADE - MANPADS could fall into terrorists' hands after the US lifts restrictions on supplies of arms to Syria allies, and that would be the worst outcome of this decision, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Friday.
The danger of MANPADS falling into terrorists' hands is a "regional and a global threat," Peskov said.
