"Serbs showed responsibility by voting in Kosovo election"

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA, BELGRADE -- Serbs voted in early parliamentary elections in Kosovo "in large numbers, despite difficult conditions" demonstrating their responsibility toward their state.

This is according to Marko Đurić, director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo.

"Serbs in Kosovo should decide on participation in polls"

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA -- Aleksandar Vulin said in Kosovska Mitrovica of Friday that Serbs themselves should decide on their participation in parliamentary elections in Kosovo.

Vulin now serves as minister of labor and was in charge of Kosovo in the previous government.

Five Serbs from enclave under house arrest

ŠTRPCE -- Five Serbs from the enclave of Štrpce who were arrested on Tuesday have been placed under house arrest for up to 30 days.

Among the arrested Serbs, four are members of the Kosovo police.
