Ljajic: Report on cooperation with ICTY could be negative
BELGRADE - The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) could submit a negative report on the cooperation with Serbia over the non- extradition of three Serbian Radical Party (SRS) officials sought by the Tribunal. says Rasim Ljajic, the head of the council for cooperation with the ICTY.
EC to analyze Serbia's non-extradition ruling
BRUSSELS - Although the European Commission (EC) say they will analyze a ruling by a Belgrade court on non-extradition of three officials of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS) to a war crimes tribunal in The Hague, they believe a consensus among the member states will be reached and Chapter 23 in EU accession talks with Serbia will be opened soon, Tanjug learned at the EC.

BELGRADE - Serbia on Wednesday informed the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) of a first-instance ruling by a Belgrade court stating that, under the Serbian law on cooperation with the tribunal, the conditions for extradition of three Serbian Radical Party (SRS) officials have not been met.
Seselj named SRS presidential candidate
BELGRADE - Serbian Radical Party (SRS) leader Vojislav Seselj was on Sunday named the party's candidate in the 2017 presidential elections in Serbia.
The decision was taken unanimously by the SRS Central Fatherland Administration at a session in the party's Belgrade headquarters, chaired by Seselj.

BELGRADE - The Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) Thursday allocated seats to future lawmakers in the new composition of the Serbian parliament, which created the conditions for convening the constitutive session of parliament.
The seats are filled according to the order on the electoral lists.

PIK: 51 pct of ballots processed, SNS wins 54 pct of vote
NOVI SAD - The Provincial Election Commission (PIK) announced late on Monday the preliminary results of the elections for the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina based on 59.61 percent of polling stations processed, comprising 51.65 percent of the electorate in Vojvodina, which show that the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) won 54.17 percent of the vote.
