Bosnian police in cooperation with colleagues in France have arrested seven persons and raided several sites, targeting organized crime rings and human traffickers. The raids took place in Zenica, Vlasenica, Jajce and Prijedor.

The joint action, code-named CD, targeted human traffickers in relation to labour exploitation, stealing and begging in France.

The State Investigative and Protection Agency, SIPA, told Balkan Insight on Monday that it has received information from the Intelligence-Security Agency, OSA, about the possibility of new attacks by militants in the wake of last week's shooting.

Nerdin Ibric (24), who killed police officer Dragan Djuric and wounded his two colleagues two nights ago in police station in Zvornik, became a terrorist in just three months.

Bosnian officials have renewed calls for the dismissal of Goran Zubac, director of the State Investigative and Protection Agency, SIPA, after the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in a first instance ruling sentenced him to a year's probation for neglecting his duties during the protests last February.

Bosnia's State Investigative and Protection Agency, SIPA, announced on Thursday that after a months-long criminal investigation it had arrested three persons suspected of giving and taking bribery which included a state judge.

Bosnian police arrested two Islamic militants, suspected to be travelling to Syria, at Sarajevo airport on Tuesday evening as they were boarding the flight to Istanbul.

Bosnia's State Investigative and Protection Agency, SIPA, said on Wednesday that it suspected 32 bank employees took some part in the theft of 600,000 KM [300,000 euro] from the vault of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

One Central Bank employee, Nedzad Bajraktarevic, was arrested for the crime last December and remains in detention.

Bosnia's State Investigative and Protection Agency, SIPA, in cooperation with other police agencies, sprang into action on Thursday to investigate reports that flags and symbols of the Islamic State, ISIS, were on display on homes in the northern village of Gornja Maoca.

Bosnia's State Investigative and Protection Agency, SIPA, on Thursday arrested 11 persons suspected of terrorism offences in a continuation of the September police action codenamed "Damask".

SIPA conducted raids on November 13 at various sites in Sarajevo, Zenica, Kakanj, Maglaj and Zivinice.

Bosnia: Arrests of suspected Muslim extremists

SARAJEVO -- Bosnia's State Investigation and Protection Agency early on Wednesday arrested 17 people suspected of having links with the Wahhabi movement.

The operation, codenamed "Damascus," was conducted in 15 cities in Bosnia-Herzegovina, it was announced.
