Hollywood is gearing up for the 95th Academy Awards, where "Everything Everywhere All at Once" comes in the lead nominee.

The Oscars will be held on March 12, at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. The ceremony is set to begin at 8 p.m. EST and be broadcast live on ABC.

The Screen Actors Guild has announced nominations to its 29th annual awards, heaping nominations on "Everything Everywhere All at Once" and "The Banshees of Inisherin," while throwing some curve balls into the Oscar race.

The prize for best film of the year at the National Board of Review (NBR) Awards went to "Top Gun: Maverick." Martin McDonagh's "The Banshees of Inisherin" took home the most trophies. But the night belonged to its best-director honoree, Steven Spielberg, and the parade of tributes paid to the 76-year-old filmmaker.

Recent Oscar winners Ariana DeBose, Troy Kotsur and Billie Eilish are among the 397 individuals who have been invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
