This is what meteorologist Boryana Markova, National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, told Focus News Agency.

Cloudy weather over the country today. Snowfall is expected in some places, more considerable in the mountainous regions. Mostly rain and wet snow along the Black Sea coast and the Danube. By the end of the day the precipitation will end and the cloud will be breaking up. Light to moderate wind will blow from north-northeast, in Eastern Bulgaria strong at times.

Broken clouds until noon today, in many regions to sunny spells. In the afternoon the cloud will increase and thicken from northeast, and in the evening in some places, mostly in the northeastern regions, one can expect light rainfall, in the mountains - snowfall.

Mostly sunshine is forecast for today with maximum temperatures of between 10°C and 15°C. Reduced visibility in the morning in some places in the lowlands and valleys. In the afternoon, cloud will increase and thicken from west, but still no precipitation during the day.

A lot of cloud is expected today with light rainfall in many places. The atmospheric pressure will further increase in the afternoon. Cold air will arrive with light to moderate wind from north. Amid decreasing temperatures, at the end of the day and during the night the rain in the Pre-Balkan and the high fields of West Bulgaria will be turning to snow.

Greater precipitation is again expected in the western regions and the Rila-Rhodopes.

Today the precipitations will stop everywhere in the country, and in most areas in South Bulgaria the clouds will break and decrease to mostly sunshine. Light to moderate wind from west-northwest. The maximum temperatures will reach zero to 5°C in most places, in Sofia about minus 1°C.

Today it will be mostly cloudy with precipitations, snow in West and North Bulgaria, mostly rain in some places of the Upper Thracian Plain and in the eastern regions. Light to moderate wind from north-northwest will bring cold air. Decreasing temperatures, with rain in most areas turning into snow this evening and night, but from west the precipitations will be tapering off.

Today it will be cloudy over most of the country. Light rain is expected in Northern Bulgaria and the eastern regions, rain and snow in the Pre-Balkan region and Northeast Bulgaria.
