Bulgaria's tennis players, Grigor Dimitrov, and Viktoriya Tomova, maintain their positions in the latest world rankings published today, showcasing their enduring prowess on the global stage.

In the latest update of the ATP world rankings, Grigor Dimitrov, Bulgaria's most successful tennis player, maintains his position in the top ten despite a slight drop. Dimitrov now stands at No. 10 after adding 100 points to his tally to reach the round of 16 at the Monte-Carlo Masters 1000 tournament.

Tennis enthusiasts anticipate an exciting showdown as Grigor Dimitrov, Bulgaria's top-ranked player, gears up to commence his campaign at the prestigious Monte Carlo Masters today. Retaining his ninth position in the latest ATP rankings, Dimitrov enters the tournament with a formidable track record, ready to showcase his prowess on the court.

Bulgaria's tennis sensation Grigor Dimitrov has made a triumphant return to the elite top 10 of the ATP rankings, marking a significant accomplishment in his career. After a hiatus of 260 weeks, Dimitrov's stellar performance at the Miami Masters 1000 catapulted him three places up the rankings, landing him firmly in ninth position with 3,540 points.

In today's published tennis world rankings, Grigor Dimitrov maintains his position among the men.

The Bulgarian tennis player once again secures the 13th position with a total of 2785 points. This time, he is set to return to the tennis court during the current week, participating in the ATR 250 tournament indoors in Marseille.

Tennis player Tsvetana Pironkova was named the best athlete of the year in Bulgaria.

 In the challenging 2020 for sports, in which many competitions were postponed or canceled, the choice was difficult.

As exception, the organizers decided to vote only the top five instead of the top ten as usual.  

Bulgaria's best tennis player Grigor Dimitrov climbed one place in the World Tennis Association (ATP) world rankings. Current ranking for Grigor Dimitrov is ATP 47.

The 28-year-old Bulgarian overcame the qualities of the ATP 250 tournament in Geneva Open and tonight will play against Argentine Federico Delbonis in the first round of the main circuit in Switzerland.

Grigor Dimitrov progressed with one place in the world rankings. Dimitrov, who did not take part in tournaments last week, stayed with 1300 points but was already 28th in the ATP rankings.

This week, Grigor participated in the Monte Carlo Masters Series tournament where he has been defending last year's semifinals.

Grigor Dimitrov retained ninth place in the world rankings this week and has a total of 3,575 points. Reports Webcafe. 

Bulgaria's best tennis player missed the chance to follow the Cincinnati trophy with a strong performance at the US Open, where he was eliminated in a second round by Andrei Rubleyov.

For the first time in history, Bulgaria hosts a tournament from the ATP World Tour.

The first edition of Garanti Koza Sofia Open began on Monday and will last until Sunday, with the Arena Armeec hall being the venue for the matches.

The draw took place on Saturday, qualifications followed on Saturday and Sunday and the matches from the first round began on Monday.
