Reds conquer Barcelona, Greens lose to Maccabi
Olympiakos has taken the lead in its Euroleague playoff battle with Barcelona scoring a road win on Wednesday in Game 1, while Panathinaikos has conceded home advantage to Maccabi Tel Aviv losing in Athens on Tuesday.
The Reds beat Barcelona 77-75 and have taken the upper hand in the best-of-five playoffs that lead to Berlin's Final Four next month.

Euroleague: Reds and Greens win ahead of their clash
Panathinaikos and Olympiakos scored home wins in the Euroleague ahead of their all-Greek clash next week.
Olympiakos defeated Virtus Bologna 74-69 in Piraeus on Thursday to take another step toward a top-six finish in the regular season.
Greens and Reds score comfortable victories
Olympiakos avenged its home loss to Valencia earlier this season beating the Spanish team away on Thursday, before Panathinaikos saw off Fenerbahe at home on Friday.
Having Moustapha Fall back in action, Olympiakos defeated Valencia 78-65 away and has risen to a 15-11 record.

Reds and Greens stroll to comfortable Euroleague wins in Greece
Panathinaikos and Olympiakos scored comfortable victories at home in the first half of another double week in the Euroleague.
First up, the Reds put 101 past visiting Alba Berlin (101-87) at the Peace and Friendship Stadium on Tuesday to improve their record to 13-11 and climb to the seventh spot.
Emphatic home wins for Reds and Greens in Europe
Panathinaikos and Olympiakos scored emphatic home victories in the Euroleague this week ahead of their head-to-head on Monday for the Greek league.
First up Olympiakos defeated Maccabi Tel Aviv on Thursday with an 89-72 score in Piraeus for its 12th win in 22 games.

Last-gasp wins for persistent Reds and Greens
Olympiakos was rewarded for its persistence and defeated visiting Monaco on Thursday, as did Panathinaikos at Valencia on Friday, in a positive end of the week for Greek teams in the Euroleague.
Olympiakos outfoxed Monaco at the end of their game at the Peace and Friendship Stadium in Piraeus to win 75-73 for its 11th victory in 19 matches.

Greek away wins on either side of the Alps
Panathinaikos made it two out of two on the road this week in the Euroleague, as it followed its win at Monaco with a triumph at Armani Milano on Friday, just one hour after Olympiakos scored a road win of its own, downing Villeurbanne at Lyon.
The Reds overcame its lowly host with an 85-73 score in France to reach an 8-8 record.

Olympiakos beats Fenerbahce by 20 in Turkey
Olympiakos is staking a claim for the top spot of the regular season's table in the Euroleague after an emphatic triumph over Fenerbahce in Turkey on Tuesday, as Panathinaikos offered its fans more of the same on the road, going down at Real Madrid on Wednesday.
