Stefanovic: Serbia has won diplomatic victory in Interpol

BELGRADE - The fact Pristina has withdrawn its Interpol membership application after failing to garner support from a sufficient number of countries is a result of major diplomatic activities by Serbia, Serbian Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said Friday.

The diplomatic activities lasted for months, he told the RTS.

Stefanovic: Russia and China helped us block Pristina's Interpol bid

The fact that Pristina did not receive support for Interpol membership and withdrew their candidacy is the result of Serbia's diplomatic activity.

Deputy PM and Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said this on Friday, adding that this diplomatic activity had lasted several months.

Local elections in Belgrade could be held in December

Local elections in Belgrade should be held on December 10, B92 has learned unofficially.

Serbian President and ruling SNS leader Aleksandar Vucic said earlier that his party's electoral list will be called "SNS - Aleksandar Vucic."

According to him, that will be the last time the SNS will participate in an election with a list under that name.
