Justice Minister Nikos Paraskevopoulos on Wednesday condemned a firebomb attack by unidentified assailants on his former office at Thessaloniki's Aristotle University, which caused damage but no injuries.

"The government will not be terrorized," Paraskevopoulos, who is a professor of law, said in a statement.

Justice Minister Nikos Paraskevopoulos and Alternate Justice Minister Dimitris Papangelopoulos on Tuesday criticised an announcement issued by the Union of Public Prosecutors of Greece concerning recent legislation which allows the use of illegally obtained evidence to support a case in court.
